Rock Bottom

Rock Bottom is a 3D physics-based puzzle game, made in Unreal Engine for mobile-devices.

Players will be guiding physics-based water balls down the face of an open mine site. The water balls accurately move to the angle the player holds the device using accelerometer technology, creating a tactile and engaging experience.

Challenges are introduced to the players in the form of obstacles and additional water supply. Players will have to navigate poorly managed mining waste, in the form of pyrite and stibnite, as they guide water down the facility completing the level. Additionally, there are some more interactive elements, such as digging dirt blocks, and moving minecarts to open more paths for the water to flow.

Developed for International Network of Acid Prevention, this game has been designed to get high school and university students interested in mining through interactive and educational gameplay. This game has been published on Google Play and Itch.io.
